Assignment 9

After use these online open courseware.
I think MIT OCW is my favorite.
MIT completed the initial publication of virtually the entire curriculum, over 1,950 courses.
And it provide free lecture notes, exams, and videos without registration.
I can learn many language in MIT OCW website,such as German,French,Japanese,Spanish.
It contains assignments and exams.
You can try it and check the answer.
It's very helpful to us.
Others online open courseware also good.
But MIT OCW website is better.

"Large" usually used to describe the number and size of something

Assignment2- Dictionaries

I try all the online dictionary.
I think Merriam-Webster's Learners' Dictionary is the best.
It have the word's pronounced,function,meaning,sentence,and search it very fast.

1.magnitude-noun
     meaning: the size, extent, or importance of something.
     sentence: The country's small army would be crushed in a war of such magnitude.
2.epicenter-noun
     meaning: the part of the earth's surface that is directly above the place where an earthquake starts.
3.rumble-verb
     meaning: to make a low, heavy, continuous sound or series of sounds.
     sentence: Thunder rumbled in the distance.
                    I got hungry and my stomach started rumbling.
4.disrupt-verb
     meaning: to cause (something) to be unable to continue in the normal way.
     sentence: Protesters disrupted the conference.
                   The barking dogs disrupted my sleep.
5.stability-noun
     meaning: the quality or state of something that is not easily changed or likely to change.
     sentence: the country's political and economic stability.
